How to use your reward chart
Agree on achievable tasks
Start with one to three actions that are clear and realistic with the support available. “Put the toys in their basket” is easier to understand than “be good”. The star values here are examples, not rules.
Choose the reward together
Pick something you can reliably offer, such as choosing a game or planning a shared activity. Every completed task earns one star in this paper chart. Keep the target within reach; completing every box should not be necessary.
Print or save a PDF
Use the print button. In the browser print dialog, choose your printer or “Save as PDF”. Choose A4 paper and landscape orientation; some browsers keep your previous printer settings. The print layout hides the editor. If your device does not offer a PDF option, you can print normally.
Review the plan together
Add a sticker or colour a star after completion, including agreed help. At the end of the week, discuss what was clear and what needs changing. Keep care, affection, food and necessary rest separate from rewards.
Paper first, Sparkle when you need more
This chart is a paper planning aid, not a calendar feature of the Sparkle app. Sparkle adds individual profiles, approval before stars are awarded, star balances and rewards chosen together on iPhone and iPad. Optional sync uses the same Apple Account.
